Educational use only

Role by Role provides general career-learning, job-discovery, and exam-practice information. It is not investment, legal, tax, employment, licensing, medical, or mental-health advice. No pathway, score, study signal, match, date suggestion, community response, or other feature guarantees eligibility, employment, registration, promotion, or a passing result.

Résumé and job matching

The current beta analyzes supported résumés locally in the active browser tab after an unchecked extraction authorization. It creates an editable extracted profile and deterministic readiness review. Local revision suggestions require a separate, later unchecked authorization and remain subject to your item-by-item decision. When the authorized jobs feed is connected, local match bands may also be shown. A readiness score or match band is not an employer score, screening decision, indication of employer interest, interview likelihood, or probability of receiving a job offer. Role by Role does not determine whether you are qualified, infer protected traits, invent résumé facts, apply for a role, contact an employer, or accept terms for you. Verify every extraction, revision, listing, deadline, requirement, company, salary, and application destination yourself.

Your files

You must have the right to process the résumé and its contents. Do not include government IDs, Social Security numbers, passwords, medical or financial details, confidential employer information, or another person’s personal information. Local contact-pattern removal and text extraction may be incomplete. You remain responsible for correcting the extracted profile, replacing revision placeholders only with verified facts, reviewing downloaded plans, and deciding what to share with an employer.

Accounts and progress sync

If account sync is enabled, the structured study snapshot may include seven daily learning-action counts and local calendar dates for the last visit and last learning action. You choose whether the saved snapshot or this device’s copy should replace the other. Revision checks may require reloading before a newer saved copy can be replaced. Résumé material, field notes, role-proof stories, revision drafts, and job-match results are excluded from sync. Use account export before deletion if you want a copy; deleting the server account removes its synced progress but does not automatically clear learning data stored separately on your devices.

Audience and account eligibility

No account service is active in this beta. Public account registration must remain disabled until the operator publishes a qualified-reviewed minimum age and minor-account policy, including any required parent or guardian consent. The current draft does not grant anyone eligibility to create an account.

Content boundary

Practice questions are original educational items, not actual, recalled, or confidential exam questions. Requirements, fees, laws, rules, and job listings change; verify material decisions with the regulator, licensing board, testing provider, employer, or current official source.

Community conduct

Community features are not active. Future terms must prohibit harassment, impersonation, cheating, recalled exam content, unsafe professional claims, scams, and disclosure of private information. Peer posts must not be treated as verified professional advice.

Beta limitations

The current securities practice bank is not a comprehensive curriculum and does not provide multiple full-length unique mock exams. The mortgage loan originator guide and self-recorded Living Career Map are open, but Role by Role does not offer SAFE MLO test prep, an MLO question bank, an approved course, or an approval predictor. Insurance and cybersecurity remain research previews without released curricula. The beta may contain mistakes, incomplete features, broken links, or outdated material.

Independence and marks

Role by Role is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by FINRA, NASAA, SoFi, any employer, job board, or testing provider. FINRA and SIE are marks of the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority. Other names and marks belong to their respective owners and identify relevant exams, organizations, roles, or sources.

Optional support and warranty

Contributing, if enabled, is optional and will never change access, scores, matches, rankings, response speed, or service quality. The launch configuration permits one-time contributions only—no recurring contribution or subscription. Checkout occurs on the single hosted provider named at the decision point; its terms, privacy practices, payment-method eligibility, fees, and transaction controls apply. The provider may make a receipt record and payer details available to the Role by Role operator for reconciliation, refunds, disputes, and legally required records; checkout does not include résumé or study data. Role by Role does not collect card numbers and makes no tax-deductibility representation. Before public launch, the operator must publish a working support contact and final policy for mistaken or duplicate contributions, refund requests, disputes, transaction-record retention, and legally required returns; no refund outcome is promised by this draft. The beta is provided as available without a promise of uninterrupted operation, completeness, accuracy, ranking, employment outcome, or fitness for a particular purpose to the extent permitted by applicable law.
